Cyanide in Tap Water?

A recent report from Fox News local affiliate in West Palm Beach focuses on what kind of contaminants are commonly found in tap water and which ingredients arenʼt being tested for.
According to the Environmental Working Group, a non-profit group that studied tap water across the entire United States, “People have a good reason to be worried.” They found contaminants, like Trihalomethanes, that sometimes go above recommended safety levels. Trihalomethanes are a liver toxin and can be very dangerous. They also found more than 200 chemicals in our tap water that arenʼt government regulated such as cyanide from industrial pollution.
According to Dr. Bill Louda, an Environmental Biochemist, if your really worried about your tap water, “I would spend the money on a final use filtration system.”
Fortunately, Carico offers a wide range of point of use water filtration systems. Point of use systems offer protection at the final point in which the water could possibly become contaminated. This can reduce or eliminate contamination from old pipes, organic matter and even bacteria.

  1. This is great information. Let's tell everyone about it as well as Carico's solution.

  2. I don't want cyanide or any pollutant in my water. And that pipe picture is absolutely disgusting.
